The value of re-steeping (or How many cups of tea can you make from one tea bag or batch)

Some teas are good good for multiple infusions (typically higher quality oolongs and green teas). This means that you can make multiple cups of tea with one batch (bag or loose), although each subsequent steeping will be less robust than the one before. While there is no definitive list of those teas that will allow multiple infusions, in our Types of Tea section, we will be highlighting specific teas and will note when a tea will last for a few cups.
